Here at Living Water, we believe that relationships are everything.
We’d love nothing more than for you to join us on a Sunday, grab a cup of coffee and spend some time with us.
We are a spirit filled church with a contemporary worship style. Our worship is lively and engaging — we strive to make each morning fresh, putting a unique twist on an old song, or introducing new ones. Each of our worship leaders has a different set of musical influences. From bluegrass to rock, to jam band to quiet acoustic — you’ll see it all if you spend enough time here.

Our worship is designed to be fun and relaxing. You might see people raise their hands or you might not. You might see someone in the back getting their groove on. Or maybe you’ll see people sitting, soaking in the music. We encourage each to worship as they feel led. This is a place we want you to feel comfortable to just be you.

We have services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with adult education and children’s ministry during both services. There is time in between the services for fellowship. We encourage you to come early and stay late.

So take some time to scroll, click and meander through the information here. Dig through our calendar. Listen to our sermons. We think it would be awesome if you got to know us before you came to visit us, but if you’re just not certain or you want to know more, shoot us an email or find us on Facebook. We’d love to connect with you.

Thanks for stopping by! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Let us tell you a little about ourself.

Living Water started as a Sun Prairie mission church formed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and developed by Pastor Jon Gerdts. The church held its first worship service on November 7, 1999 and became officially organized on December 3, 2000. We are blessed with a beautiful Sun Prairie church and held our first worship service here on Sunday, May 1, 2005!

Today, Living Water is a member of the LCMC, ARC (Alliance of Renewal Churches), The River, which is connected with Global Legacy, and the Willow Creek Association.

At Living Water, Relationships are Everything! We believe that true, lasting friendships lie at the heart of the Christian life – first with God and then with others. After all, that’s what God wants for each one of us – to have a relationship that is close, personal and dependable. By providing a warm Sun Prairie environment of contemporary worship, fellowship events, and life-group gatherings where you are encouraged to “be yourself,” Living Water strives to afford each person an opportunity to grow and find new hope in God and in the Christian community.

You’d probably like to know what we believe. Here you go!

Our Motto

Relationships are everything!! See this for yourself on Facebook.

Our Values

Because we Love God and all People, we value…
…an intimate personal relationship with God our Father and Creator, whose image we bear
…an unconditional surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ who alone is the Savior of all Mankind
…a radical dependence on the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit today in every believer and the church body
…the Bible as God’s word – absolutely dependable, relational, and relevant in equipping all people for life
…prayer for its power to bring us into God’s presence and to change realities.
…sharing the source of our hope and joy with others
…God’s healing power in our world today
…serving and giving as the highest forms of witness and work
…inspiring and joyful worship that engages the heart, mind, and spirit
…relationships as the most important facet of human existence
…pursuing a deeper daily walk with God through prayer, worship, study of His Word, service to others, and growing relationships with other believers
…the grace of God, freely given – the only way to be saved
…unity as the true state of the body of Christ, striving to keep ourselves one in the Spirit and binding ourselves together in peace
…a balanced approach to our faith, worshiping with equal awe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Our Purpose

To see all people live and grow in relationship with one another and with God, advancing His kingdom with the light of Christ in the power of the Spirit, pushing back the darkness so that the least, the last, and the lost are touched by the love of God, and the people of God live into their destiny as world-changers.
