A commitment that continues
More than a moment on Sunday.
In dedication, parents publicly express their desire to raise their children to know and love God. We thank God for each child, pray for the family, and commit as a church to support them.
The commitment reaches into everyday life: praying together, opening Scripture, talking about Jesus, showing forgiveness, and helping children see what following him looks like.
Our prayer for every child
Our prayer is that, when each child is old enough to understand the gospel, they will choose to follow Jesus, be baptized, and continue growing in faith. We want to help them walk with Jesus throughout their lives.

We will celebrate your child and pray with your family as you make this commitment with our church.
Register once per family and list the full name and age of every child being dedicated. Please also let us know whether you can attend the November 8 parent gathering.

Tell us about your family.
Register once per family for November 15. List the full name and age of every child you would like to dedicate.
02 / PREPARE
Gather with other parents.
Join us November 8 at noon. We will talk through the commitment and what to expect. If you cannot attend, let us know on your registration so we can follow up.
03 / CELEBRATE
Take the step together.
During the November 15 second service, we will pray for your child and family and express our support as a church.

Do we need to be members?
Formal membership is not required. Dedication is for families who call Living Water home and want to raise their children with the support of this church family.
What are we committing to?
You are expressing your desire to follow Jesus in your own life and help your child know him through your teaching, example, prayer, and participation in the life of the church.
What if we have questions or are unsure?
We would love to talk with you. You do not have to work everything out before starting a conversation. Email our church office with your questions.
