Children's Ministry at Living Water

Big faith begins
with small steps.

We want kids to know Jesus, discover the Bible, and grow in a community where they belong. Sunday School and nursery meet at 10:30 AM.

Visiting for the first time? A short visitor card at Start Here is enough to get your child checked in.

Your child's Sunday

Three simple steps.

From nursery through eighth grade, our team will help your child find the right class.

01 · When you arrive

Stop at Start Here.

Stop at the Start Here counter in the lobby. We'll help you complete a short visitor card, check in your child, and find the right class. Share any allergies or other needs with our team.

02 · During worship

We'll lead the way.

After a prayer during the 10:30 AM service, our Children's Ministry team meets children at the door and walks them to the children's classrooms. First-time children can bring their visitor card with them.

03 · After class

Meet downstairs.

After class, our team brings the children into the large open area downstairs. Please come downstairs to meet your child; children are released to their parents there.

While your child is with us

Learning about Jesus.
Growing in everyday life.

In age-appropriate classes, children explore a Bible lesson and discover how it connects with their everyday lives. A game, craft, Bible activity, or conversation helps reinforce the lesson in a way they can understand and enjoy.

Children have room to ask questions, build friendships, and grow in faith.

Before your first Sunday

Let's help your family feel at home.

We're here to walk with your family as your children grow. Tell us about your child and what would help your first Sunday feel comfortable.

Do we need to fill out a form before our first visit?

You can fill out a short visitor card when you arrive at Start Here in the lobby, and our team will help you check in your child and find the right class. If you prefer to complete the full form ahead of time, our annual Sunday School registration is available online. It helps us get to know your child, including allergies or medical needs. Families who continue attending complete this fuller registration once each year.

Who can answer questions about my child?

Cheryl Holloway, our Children's Ministry Coordinator, can help with questions about your child's age, needs, and available options. Reach out before your visit or say hello when you arrive.

How will I know where to go?

Visit Start Here in the lobby when you arrive. Our team will help with check-in and explain when children leave the service for their classes. At pickup time, 11:45 AM, follow the signs by the stairwell to the large open area downstairs, where our team will release your child to you. You do not need to go downstairs before then.

Can I share an allergy or another important need?

Yes. Let our team know about allergies, medical needs, or anything else we should know when you check in. The annual registration form gives you space to share more details so we can care for your child well.

What about my younger child?

Nursery and pre-K classes are available during the 10:30 AM service, along with classes for older children. Our team at Start Here can help you find the right place for your child. Cheryl is also glad to answer questions before your visit.

Can my children worship with me?

Yes. Children are welcome to join their family in worship.
